It is where he spends most of his working days. Outside the clinic he is a familiar face on Arabic television, in podcasts and on social media, and has spoken at Forbes Middle East healthcare summits since 2023. He co-stars in the reality show Smile Masters with his brother Dr. Majd Naji and his sister-in-law Dr. Deema Basim, founded the oral-care brand MONAJI, and has mentored young people through GADHA. He speaks Arabic, English and French. 01 ### How patients are changing “While our parents always went seeking dental care only when their tooth hurt, today’s younger generation is intrigued by the concept of conservative dentistry. So now you have people visiting the dentist every 3–6 months to check if everything is in order. We see it with younger parents with their children as well.” Tools such as dental lasers and 3D scanners are now part of everyday dentistry, and many younger dentists learn to use them while still in dental school. 02 ### Why age should not decide “A lot of the younger generation is taken for granted. No matter where they go looking for work, they expect 5 or 10 years of experience, which is not realistic, especially in Medicine and Dentistry.” He faced that prejudice himself as a young professional. People are often reassured by grey hair, he points out, because they assume it means more experience. He uses social media to show the other side: that a young person can be successful, dress professionally and take part on the world stage. His message is that you are never restricted by your age, only by your effort and ambition to get things done. That conviction brought him to GADHA.
