Dr. Mohammed Naji is a specialist orthodontist and an entrepreneur. He is Executive Director of Liberty Dental Clinic, which his family established in 1998, and where he spends most of his working days.

Beyond the clinic he co-stars in the reality show Smile Masters, has spoken at Forbes Middle East healthcare summits since 2023 and founded the oral-care brand MONAJI.

MONAJI makes three oral-care products to carry with you: a pre-pasted toothbrush with a bamboo handle, an alcohol-free mouthwash in 10 ml sachets and a portable cleaner for aligners and retainers. The toothbrush went on sale online in September 2024, the mouthwash and the aligner cleaner in 2025.

The anatomy of a smile

Aesthetic dentistry works with proportion. One classic guide sets the visible widths of the upper front teeth in the golden proportion, 1.618 : 1 : 0.618. Others read the line of the gums, the curve the teeth make against the lower lip, and the structure of each tooth beneath its surface.

Liberty Dental Clinic, Jumeirah

His family established Liberty Dental Clinic in 1998, and Dr. Mohammed Naji serves as its Executive Director. Liberty opened a second clinic in Abu Dhabi in 2016, gained accreditation from the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) in 2019, and is part of Liberty Medical Group, with its own dental laboratory, charity initiative and research and training centre.
